05 Jul 2012
Derwent London is pleased to announce that The Blair Partnership has taken a pre-let on 6,300 sq ft at Middlesex House, 34-42 Cleveland Street, London W1. The Blair Partnership has taken a 10-year lease with a break in year five. The Blair Partnership is a literary agency whose clients include JK Rowling and has been the driving force behind the creation of Pottermore – the new digital business creating a multi-platform future for Harry Potter. Pottermore will also be situated in the space.
This transaction highlights the high popularity of Fitzrovia among tenants from the creative sector and Derwent London is delighted to welcome such a dynamic tenant to the portfolio.
Neil Blair, the founding partner of The Blair Partnership, commented: “We are delighted to be moving our business into the heart of Fitzrovia, which is such a hub for the media industry, with good transport links and excellent restaurants. We really like the spaces that Derwent London creates and are looking forward to working with them to produce a first class working environment for both our employees and our clients.”
Savills and Pilcher Hershman acted for Derwent London and Edward Charles represented The Blair Partnership.
