Now on display at 25 Baker St. W1: Supra Strata (2024) by Noémie Goudal.
Set at the entrance of Loxton Walk, this new installation is grounded in Goudal's rigorous research at the intersection of ecology and Earth sciences and continues her artistic dialogue with the field of palaeoclimatology and "deep time".
First shown at the Centre Pompidou as part of the Marcel Duchamp Prize exhibition, Supra Strata traces the emergence of microplastics through the ages and reflects Goudal's construction of ambitious, illusionistic interventions within the landscape, documented using film and photography - in this piece, expressed through print and fire.
We're proud to unveil this latest collaboration with Goudal, continuing a creative partnership spanning 16 years.
