Hugo Dalton is best known for his wall paintings. The artist has created a stage set for Sadlers Wells in London and exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Alvo 2012 and Pentonville Road. The work's origin is in a drawing made of a strand of seaweed washed ashore. This seemed emblematic of the office building's reception that is in essence a foreshore. The Alvo referneces the Finnish architect Alvar Aalto, who's work strongly inspired the architecture of the offices. Constructed from layers of plywood the work has a functional aesthetic which place it on a boundary between form and function.
