Alvo 2012 and Pentonville Road.   The work's origin is in a drawing made of a strand of seaweed washed ashore.  This seemed emblematic of the office building's reception that is in essence a foreshore.  The Alvo referneces the Finnish architect Alvar Aalto, who's work strongly inspired the architecture of the offices.   Constructed from layers of plywood the work has a functional aesthetic which place it on a boundary between form and function.
